John Raspante’s 2024 Master Class was an experience that combined technical training, creativity and artistic vision, providing participants with a valuable opportunity to explore in depth the art of Floral Design and event staging.
Kick off
The journey began at the EUR Trade Center, a modern and dynamic environment where participants were introduced to the fundamentals of Floral Design. Between theory and early practical exercises, the group worked on constructing floral arrangements, exploring the use of materials, shapes and proportions.
The relationship between Flower Designer and Wedding Planner was discussed and how harmony between these figures can result in well-structured projects. Each activity, from flower selection to mounting techniques, revealed the details of a creative process that stems from the balance between aesthetics and functionality.
In action
With the move to the San Giorgio Stables, the project took a more scenic turn. Immersed in a fascinating setting, participants honed their ability to interpret space, working on complex floral installations and bold color combinations.
In this cantest, the focus was on the challenges of large events and destination weddings, pushing each participant to measure themselves with new techniques and new ideas.
The journey ended with the creation of a collective set design, a work that combined each individual contribution into an extraordinary result.
In the end
This Master Class was not only an opportunity to learn, but a transformative experience, an ongoing dialogue between creativity and expertise. Between the two locations, so different and complementary, a tale of inspiration, technique and passion developed, where each participant left their mark on a project that will live on in their future work.
