When Giovanni started telling us about this idea, the project was still in the making. The intention was to create a floral work “suspended in the void,” a long central runner that could define the aesthetic of an imperial table.
Working together in the studio, we refined the vision step by step. Every shot, every angle, every change to the set helped shape what was initially just an intuition. The floral table became an element that seemed to float in space, a combination of the power of nature and the elegance of technique. Every detail of the set was precisely attended to, from the lighting to the floral arrangement, to finding the perfect perspective that would enhance the work.
The end result is an image that speaks of balance and irregularity. The flowers, arranged in a seemingly spontaneous arrangement, follow a precise logic that emphasizes the length and lightness of the table. The installation is not just a decorative element, but a work that captures the essence of an imperial table transformed into a symbol of timeless elegance.
What this project tells is not just an achievement, but a journey. The collaboration between those who designed, set up and immortalized the installation was at the heart of this work. Every choice, every detail contributed to creating an image that lives beyond the moment of the shot, inspiring the viewer and leaving an imprint over time.
